It Is A Cruel World That Mentally Challenged Children Are Left To Cope With And It Is Their Misfortune To Hear Derogatory Comments From The Rest Of The Society. Realising The Gravity Of This, Ma’din Has Come Forward To Embrace The Cause Of Looking After These Marginalised Human Beings. Msid Offers Regular School Education For Children With Intellectual Disability. The Curriculum Approved By The Education Department, Government Of Kerala Is Followed Here. Msid Has A Multi-disciplinary Team Of Special Educators, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists And Special Therapists. The Team First Assesses The Child And Develops A Personalized Program For That Child. Children Also Get Training In Group Sessions. For Its Contribution Msid Was Awarded As Best Institution In Activities In Disability Sector (Mental Retardation) – State Award For Empowerment Of Persons With Disabilities -2019 By The Social Justice Department, Government Of Kerala.

Ma’din School For Hearing Impaired (Mshi) Provides Children Who Are Deaf Or Hard Of Hearing With The Listening, Learning And Spoken Language Skills They Need To Succeed. Mshi Impacts The Lives Of Children And Adults Through Educational And Early Childhood Programs, Hearing Services, Mainstream Services, Research, Curriculum Development And The Teachers And Professionals Trained By Ma’din Who Take Their Special Skills To All Parts Of The World. The Blind Are Not Physically Disabled, They Are Differently-abled. But Unfortunately, They Have Become Victims Of Social Stigma And Contempt. Their Experiences May Have Traumatised Them From Childhood And They Are Denied Opportunities To Lead A Life Of Dignity And Self-respect. If Brought Up Properly With Equal Love And Care Given To Normal Children, The Blind Too Can Excel In Their Chosen Careers. The Ma’din School For Visually Impaired Was Founded In 2000 To Serve The Needs Of Students With Visual Impairments, Including Those With Additional Disabilities. We Are Committed To Providing The Highest Quality Educational Services To Our Students And Families Across The State. We Offer Day And Residential Programs On Our Campus, As Well As Outreach Services And Professional Learning Opportunities.
